The third quarter of 2022 saw dynamic trends in the performance of the top 5 consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Brazil. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Nubank: conta, cartão e mais demonstrated substantial activity. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 531K in early July and showed a generally declining trend, ending the quarter at around 382K. Active users saw a steady increase, starting at 30.7M in late June and reaching a high of 33.2M by mid-September, before slightly decreasing to about 30.9M at the end of the quarter.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix had a notable presence as well. Weekly downloads fluctuated, beginning the quarter at about 328K and ending at around 261K. The number of active users peaked at 13.4M in early July but experienced a gradual decrease, finishing the quarter at approximately 12.5M.

CAIXA maintained a consistent performance. Weekly downloads hovered around the 270K mark throughout the quarter, with slight variations. Active users peaked at around 11.9M in early July and showed a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, closing at roughly 11M.

PagBank Banco, Cartão e Conta saw a stable trend in downloads, starting at 247K in late June and ending at about 237K. Active users exhibited a stable pattern as well, starting at 4.7M and ending the quarter at approximately 4.8M.

Lastly, Bradesco: Conta, Cartão e Pix! experienced steady downloads, beginning the quarter at 260K and ending at around 234K. Active users showed minor fluctuations but remained relatively stable, starting at 11.4M and ending the quarter at about 11.2M.
